Dr. Kathy Wickens, B.Sc.(Hon), D.C. Wellness Advisor
Dr. Kathy Wickens is a licensed Chiropractor who earned her Honors Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Ottawa, Certificate of Business Administration from the University of Ottawa and her Doctorate from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College of Canada which is one of the best academic chiropractic colleges in the world.
After graduating from the University of Ottawa, Dr. Wickens worked in the Federal Government for ten years. When she personally discovered the benefits of Chiropractic, she returned to school for an additional four years to get her Doctorate in Chiropractic.
She is the owner of the Chiropractic Care and Longevity Center located in Perth, Ontario.
Her background is extensive. She believes in a well-rounded common sense approach utilizing the latest scientific advancements in health care in order to achieve optimal health and to correct the underlying cause of any specific conditions. Dr. Wickens also believes patients must be informed and take an active role in their health. Over the past twenty two years Dr. Wickens has lectured to thousands in an attempt to educate the public regarding chiropractic, nutrition, exercise, wellness etc.
Dr. Wickens has taken thousands of hours of continuing education involving chiropractic, physical training, orthotics, gait analysis, compression stockings, addiction, supplements, homeopathy, radiology courses, lifestyle management, C.A.T.S. (Cranial Adjusting Turner Style), Cranial Release technique (CRT), Postural Neurology and Cold Laser Therapy. She is constantly honing her skills to keep up with the latest technology and to keep abreast of the most up to date scientific research.
Dr. Wickens is actively involved in her community as a volunteer as well as in a philanthropic role. When she is not involved with her two daughters, grandchildren and her extended family of her eleven brothers and sisters, she spends her time traveling, swimming, reading and cooking.
Dr. Wickens firmly believes that we should all strive for quality of life. She enjoys assisting patients in making lifestyle changes towards this goal.
Dr. Elizabeth Carter, B.Kin., D.C., Acupuncture Provider
After graduating from PDCI in 2007, Dr. Carter attended McMaster University where she received her Bachelor of Kinesiology. While in the program, she became a volunteer at MacTurtles, a cardiac rehabilitation program for seniors. From this volunteer experience, she became interested in gerontology and special needs, and focused her courses in these topics. After being accepted to Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC), she was a founding member of Stay In Health. This program focused on improving the quality of life of seniors through exercise, education, and stress management. In her final year at CMCC, she completed the Certified Acupuncture Program, which focused on biomedical acupuncture with a foundation in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She was honoured to receive the collaborative patient care award, upon graduating for her involvement in the CMCC community
Dr. Carter spent many of her formative years swimming at the Perth Pool, and decided in the summer of 2015 to try running. She has since completed two 10km events, and is excited to be part of the Perth Kilt Run in 2016. She enjoys camping, hiking, and attending local theatre and concert events. Dr. Carter is happy to be back in her hometown of Perth educating patients so they can be active participants in their health, and aspire to have an excellent quality of life.

Dillon Lowry, RMT
Dillon had been a proud member of the Chiropractic Care & Longevity Center team for the past 3 years. His previous aspirations in competitive baseball gave him valuable insight into sports injuries and their suitable treatment and recovery times. This has allowed Dillon to understand and strengthen his career as a Registered Massage Therapist. After 3 years in a highly competitive massage therapy program, Dillon received his Advanced Diploma in Massage Therapy from Algonquin College, Ottawa, Ontario.
In the last 3 years at CCLC, he has gained experience in using deep tissue, neuromuscular, abdominal, trigger point therapy, sports rehabilitation, relaxation and pregnancy treatments. Some of his greatest successes have included rotator cuff issues, frozen shoulder, and very successful relaxation and deep tissue treatments. Dillon also has experience with developmentally challenged children. In the future, he plans to specialize in tempo-mandibular join (jaw) and lymph drainage.
Being born and raised in Perth, Dillon is pleased to continue serving the individuals of the community and surrounding areas.
Alanna Dyer, RMT
Alanna has been a member of the Chiropractic Care & Longevity Center team since September 2015. Alanna graduated from Fleming College's three year advanced diploma program in April 2015 and is now a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. She has gained knowledge and experience in pregnancy and infant massage, intraoral massage, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, relaxation massage and lymphatic drainage. Alanna is very proud to have started her career in her hometown and to be a part of the team at the Chiropractic Care & Longevity Center. Alanna looks forward to treating clients with impairments and helping them achieve optimal health through massage
Lindsay Cannon, RMT
Having graduated from Algonquin College’s three year massage therapy program in 2013, Lindsey is registered with the college of massage therapists of Ontario and is an active member of the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario. She is competent in deep tissue massage, myofascial release, pre- and post-natal massage and sports injury massage. As a graduate Dental Assistant, Lindsey is using her dental knowledge to develop a TMJ massage focus. She is dedicated to a healthy lifestyle, which she promotes to her clients.

Ashley Currie, Office Manager
Ashley graduated with High Honors from Willis College in 2012 with a diploma in Health Office Administration. In the office, she enjoys overseeing the front desk to make sure everything is running smoothly. She manages all of the Motor Vehicle Accident/Veterans Affairs claims as well as produces the monthly newsletter. Ashley resides in Carleton Place with her dog Copper. In her downtime, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and hunting year round.
Sarah Salisbury, Chiropractic Assistant
Sarah graduated from Trent University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and joined the office in 2014. From her education, Sarah has extensive experience within the healthcare field, ranging from infants to the senior population. Sarah is passionate about all things holistic and enjoys educating patients on the benefits of chiropractic and natural alternatives to help them reach their wellness goals!
In September 2017, Sarah started attending St. Lawrence College in Kingston to obtain an Advanced Diploma in Human Resources.
Ashley Colling, Chiropractic Assistant
Ashley Colling is originally from Perth but now resides in the Merrickville area with her husband, Neil and two children, Thomas and Adelaide. She enjoys the outdoors , time with her family and travel. Passionate about her new found love for yoga, she enjoys exploring more alternate forms of medicine and healing. Ashley graduated from Algonquin College in Perth with honours in the PSW course in 2004, after which she worked full time in the nursing field until recently taking her skills to an office environment.
Sheila Ifill, Clinical Chiropractic Assistant
Sheila Ifill has joined our team as the Clinical Assistant. She is originally from Rideau Ferry, raised on a dairy farm and now resides in Perth with her husband St.clair. She enjoys traveling, playing sports, spending time with friends and family including her 3 daughters and 6 grandchildren. Working as a registered nurse for many years, Sheila was most currently employed by Dr. Ross McLean. After his retirement in Dec 2017, Sheila has sought out alternative forms of medicine and is excited to be able to continue to use her skills and experience in the community. She has continued to expand her learning and is now doing laser therapy at CCLC in addition to her other responsibilities.
Sharlee Moran, Personal Trainer
Sharlee Moran was certified through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) in 2014 as a Personal Trainer/Fitness Nutritionist. She has since obtained a Functional Training Certification and specializes in natural movement, a full body approach to better health and functionality. She has experience working with a wide range of clients meeting their needs.
Sharlee enjoys doing her own workouts in a gym atmosphere performing a diverse range of full body movements, practicing yoga and meditation, she also enjoys using nature as her playground to stay active, making creative outdoor workouts, foraging and hunting food, hiking and jogging.
